Kenosha Epoxy Flooring is an epoxy flooring contractor based in Kenosha, WI, with more than 20 years of experience preparing and coating concrete floors. We work in home garages and basements, and in warehouses, plants, kitchens and shops on both sides of the Wisconsin and Illinois state line.
Our work starts where most floor failures start: the slab. A coating can only be as good as the concrete beneath it and the care that went into preparing it, so that is where we spend our time and attention before any color goes down.
Our Approach

Every slab we coat is opened mechanically with a diamond grinder or shot blaster, and we do not acid etch. Moisture testing is a written line item in the scope for basements and garages alike, because Wisconsin does not require a vapor retarder under an unconditioned attached garage, and a dry-looking floor is not always a dry one. We read the cracks, joints and old coatings before quoting, and when a slab needs repair or replacement first, we say so plainly. We also tell you up front that a coating is a film that follows the slab under it, not a cure for a slab that is still moving.
What we promise goes in writing. Our proposals name the product, the system build and the finished thickness, so what was quoted can be checked against what went down. Home jobs get a written contract before any deposit is taken, as Wisconsin’s home improvement rule requires, and warranty exclusions are read out before the job is sold, with moisture first.
Curing is scheduled by slab temperature and dew point rather than the calendar, so we will tell you when an unheated garage should wait for spring. We collect grinding dust and slurry on site, keep track of which side of the state line each job sits on for coating VOC rules, and never sell a floor coating as radon reduction. Commercial floors are scheduled around the hours the building has to keep running, including overnight and weekend work.
What We Do
We install epoxy garage floors, flake and metallic epoxy floors, polyaspartic floor coatings and basement floor epoxy for homeowners, along with polished concrete floors, concrete grinding and concrete floor repair. For businesses, we build commercial epoxy flooring, commercial kitchen flooring and ESD flooring for static-sensitive spaces. If you have a floor that needs attention in Kenosha or nearby, contact us for a free estimate and we will come look at the slab before we put a number on it.
